It’s time to explore Mexico! I’ve been looking forward to seeing some of the Mayan ruins when I visited Mexico as I’ve been intrigued by their culture for many years.
First stop was the ruins of Tulum. These ruins are right by the sea (so you can go for a swim after the hot work of exploring history) with an amazing view. The main temple was built in a way that, at certain times of the year, the sun would shine through the small opening of the doorway. Incredible architecture!
The local inhabitants didn’t seem to mind us wandering through.
Take your togs! (or your bathing costume, whatever works for you). The beach is lovely. There isn’t anywhere to get changed though so go prepared.
